Gowtham Atluri is an Associate Professor in the Department of EECS at the University of Cincinnati, part of the College of Engineering and Applied Science. His research focuses on spatiotemporal data mining, developing methodologies for scientific discovery across domains like neuroscience, climate science, and biomedical informatics. He holds a PhD from the University of Minnesota and completed postdoctoral work there before joining UC in 2016.
Education: PhD in Computer Science (University of Minnesota, 2014), MTech (IIT Roorkee, 2007), B.Tech (JNTU Hyderabad, 2004).

Teaching includes advanced courses on spatiotemporal data mining, emphasizing challenges in scientific domains like earth science and transportation. His lab develops tools like ABCD_Harmonizer for neuroimaging standardization and contributes to open-source software in data science.
