Professor Goudarz Poursharif is a Chartered Engineer and National Teaching Fellow at Aston University. He currently serves as the Founding Dean of Aston Professional Education and holds a Professorship in Education for Sustainable Development (ESD). His roles include leadership in academic quality assurance, curriculum transformation aligned with Aston 2030 strategy, and spearheading engineering apprenticeship programs with major UK companies like BMW and Pfizer. Poursharif previously led the BEng Professional Engineering programs and co-designed the MSc in Sustainable Engineering. His work emphasizes embedding ESD into engineering curricula and fostering industry collaboration.
