Gordon D. Logan is Centennial Professor of Psychology at Vanderbilt University. His research examines attention, executive control, automaticity, and skill acquisition, with applications to mental arithmetic and spatial cognition.
Logan develops computational models of cognitive processes including the STOP-IT paradigm for studying response inhibition. His work integrates psychological theory with neurocognitive approaches to understand decision-making and action control.
