Gordon Bear is a retired Professor of Social Psychology at Ramapo College of New Jersey, affiliated with the School of Social Science and Human Services (SSHS) and the Department of Psychology. He joined the college in 1974 and holds degrees from Yale University (B.A., M.S., Ph.D.). His research focuses on puberty and family structure, promiscuity/chastity, and perception of facial activity and theory of mind.
