Assoc. Prof. Goran Andlar, PhD is affiliated with the University of Zagreb, serving in the Department of Ornamental Plants, Landscape Architecture and Garden Art under the Faculty of Agriculture. He specializes in cultural landscape theory, rural landscape analysis, and sustainable environmental planning.

Goran’s research focuses on Mediterranean dry stone wall landscapes, landscape typology, and policies for cultural landscape preservation. He has coordinated projects such as “Sredozemni krajobraz kao čimbenik identiteta Hrvatske” funded by MZOS and “Krajobrazna osnova Nacionalnog parka Krka”.
His academic career includes roles as assistant professor (2016–2017), senior assistant (2012–2016), and junior researcher (2006–2012), all at the University of Zagreb. Teaching courses include Theoretical Foundations of Landscape Architecture and Landscape Typology.
Projects include coordinating regional energy transformation initiatives and rural landscape planning efforts, with durations spanning 2015 to 2023.
