Gopal Pandurangan is the Moores Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Houston, affiliated with the Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) Data Science Institute. He holds a PhD from Brown University, an MS from SUNY Albany, and a B.Tech. from IIT Madras, all in Computer Science. His research focuses on distributed computing, networks, big data, and quantum algorithms. He has advised numerous PhD students and holds IEEE Fellow and AAIA Fellow distinctions.
