Go van Dam

Prof. Go van Dam is a Professor at the University of Groningen’s Faculty of Medical Sciences, affiliated with the Basic and Translational Research and Imaging Methodology Development in Groningen (BRIDGE) and Microbes in Health and Disease (MHD) research groups. He also serves as CEO of TRACER EUROPE B.V. / AxelaRx since March 2020. His research focuses on advanced medical imaging techniques, oncology, and vaccine development, contributing to Sustainable Development Goals related to health and innovation.

Key research interests include optical imaging for cancer detection, molecular endoscopy, and clinical trials for vaccines targeting infectious diseases like SARS-CoV-2.
