Gloria Del Rosario

Gloria Del Rosario serves as a Full-Time Lecturer in the Department of Accounting & Finance at the College of Business Administration and Public Policy, California State University, Dominguez Hills. She teaches core accounting courses including Financial Accounting, Intermediate Accounting, Cost Accounting, Accounting Information Systems, Government and Nonprofit Accounting, and Entrepreneurial Accounting.

Her professional expertise spans multiple accounting disciplines with emphasis on practical industry applications. Key research and teaching interests include:

• Cost Accounting methodologies
• Government and nonprofit sector financial reporting
• Internal auditing frameworks
• Accounting information systems implementation
• Financial controls and compliance
• Entrepreneurial accounting practices

With over 25 years of experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry, Professor Del Rosario previously held leadership roles as Cost Accounting Manager at Raytheon and at The Aerospace Corporation where she served as Manager of Government Accounting, Manager of Internal Auditing, Controls & Compliance, and Senior Financial Analyst. She also worked as a Senior Auditor for the federal government.

She actively guides students through career development initiatives including the Accounting Career Planning - Micro-Internship program.
