Glenn Lambie

Dr. Glenn Lambie is a Professor and Senior Associate Dean for Faculty and Operational Excellence at the University of Central Florida (UCF), holding the Robert N. Heintzelman Eminent Scholar Endowed Chair. He leads the Department of Counselor Education and School Psychology within the College of Community Innovation and Education. With over 20 years in counseling and education, his expertise spans counselor supervision, school-based mental health interventions, and child-adolescent therapeutic approaches. He holds certifications including National Certified Counselor (NCC), National Certified School Counselor (NCSC), and Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CCMHC).

His research focuses on counseling competencies, trauma-informed care, neurofeedback for mental health, and educational equity. He has published extensively on school-based mental health interventions, counselor training, and ethical considerations in technology use. Notable awards include ACA Fellow and leadership roles in counselor education.

Dr. Lambie’s work emphasizes practical applications, such as developing assessment tools (e.g., Counseling Competencies Scale) and evaluating interventions for marginalized populations.
