Glenn Beltz

Glenn Beltz is a Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Associate Dean of Undergraduate Studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB). His research focuses on micro- and nanoscale engineering, structural materials, and solid mechanics, with particular emphasis on thin film stress analysis, dislocation dynamics, and fracture mechanics. He holds a faculty position in the Mechanical Engineering department and oversees undergraduate academic affairs.
