Giuseppe Cavaliere is a Distinguished Research Professor of Economics at the University of Exeter Business School and Full Professor of Econometrics at the University of Bologna. He holds affiliations with the University of Copenhagen and Aarhus University, and serves as co-editor of the Journal of Econometrics and associate editor of the Journal of Time Series Analysis.
His research focuses on Econometrics and Statistics, with publications in premier journals including Econometrica, Annals of Statistics, and Journal of the American Statistical Association. Methodological contributions span time-series analysis, applied econometrics, and statistical inference.
Honors include:
- Elected Fellow of the International Association for Applied Econometrics (IAAE)
- Fellow of the Journal of Econometrics
- Research Fellow of the Granger Centre for Time Series Econometrics
He served as President of the Italian Econometric Association (2017–2020) and holds a PhD in Statistics from the University of Bologna.
