Giovanni Vigna

Giovanni Vigna is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB) and Director of the NSF AI Institute for Agent-based Cyber Threat Intelligence and Operation (ACTION). He is also the co-founder and former CTO of Lastline, Inc., now part of Broadcom. His research focuses on cybersecurity, including malware analysis, vulnerability assessment, and applications of AI to security challenges. He holds a Ph.D. from Politecnico di Milano.
