Giovanni Landoni

Prof. Giovanni Landoni is a Full Professor and Residency Program Director of Anesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University in Milan, Italy. He also serves as Director of the Center for Intensive Care and Anesthesiology at San Raffaele Hospital. With over 700 publications (cited >20,000 times, H-index 76), his research focuses on perioperative medicine, critical care, and clinical trial methodologies.

He has led >60 randomized controlled trials involving >10,000 patients, with notable work in acute normovolemic hemodilution, renal protection strategies, and vasopressor therapies.
