Giorgio Zanetti is a Full Professor at the Faculty of Biology and Medicine (FBM) of the University of Lausanne (UNIL) and Head of the Preventive Medicine Department at CHUV. Appointed on August 1, 2016, he also serves as Vice-Rector for Teaching and Student Affairs at UNIL. His research focuses on combating healthcare-associated infections, antimicrobial resistance, and emerging pathogens like Ebola.
