Giorgio Gastaldi

Giorgio Gastaldi is an Associate Professor of Medicine at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University, specializing in Oral Diseases and Dentistry (MEDS-16/A). He teaches Prosthetics and related courses in Dentistry programs. His career includes roles at the University of Brescia (1992–2000 as Researcher) and the San Rocco Clinical Institute (since 2009). He focuses on maxillofacial prosthetics, orthodontic biomechanics, and digital dental technologies.

Research interests include prosthetic rehabilitation for oncological patients, 3D-printed dental solutions, and clinical applications of digital technologies. He has authored/co-authored over 127 publications and co-edited three books. He is a founding member and past President (2014–2015) of the Italian Society of Prosthetic Dentistry and Implant Prosthetics (SIOPI), and a member of the Italian Society of Maxillofacial Rehabilitation (SIRMF).

His clinical work spans maxillofacial prosthetics, pediatric dental care for immunocompromised patients, and removable prosthetics for special needs patients. He collaborates with national and international institutions on prosthetic dentistry research and has organized international conferences in maxillofacial rehabilitation.
