Ginger Guttner is a part-time Lecturer at LSU's Manship School while serving full-time as Communications Manager for the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine. An Accredited Public Relations professional (APR, 2010), she oversees publications, media relations, marketing, and digital platforms for the veterinary school.
Her industry honors include multiple Awards of Excellence from the Southern Public Relations Federation and Practitioner of the Year from the Public Relations Association of Louisiana (2016). She holds a BA in English (LSU, 1992) and Master’s of Mass Communications (LSU, 1997).
As LSU's official spokesperson for live tiger mascots (Mike VI/VII), she delivered a TEDxLSU talk on representing apex predators. She currently serves as 2019 president-elect for SPRF.
