Ginger DeLatte

Mrs. Ginger DeLatte is an Assistant Professor of Accounting at the College of Business, Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi, where she has served full-time since 2018. Previously, she was an Adjunct Faculty member from 2013 to 2018. Her expertise spans Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, and Taxation.

Professional Experience: Prior to academia, Mrs. DeLatte worked for over a decade in accounting and finance roles at publicly-traded companies. Notably, she improved systems through the Landed Cost Project, reducing expenses by over $1 million monthly and enhancing inventory valuation accuracy. She also collaborated with executive teams on strategic decisions and managed external audit documentation.

Research & Teaching: Her teaching focuses on practical applications of accounting principles, including financial and managerial accounting frameworks. Her professional experience informs her classroom instruction and industry-relevant insights.

Personal: Resides in Portland with her husband and two children.
