Dr. Gina Vincent is an Associate Professor and Director of Translational Law & Psychiatry Research at UMass Chan Medical School's Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, affiliated with the T.H. Chan School of Medicine. She holds a Ph.D. in Forensic Psychology and Law from Simon Fraser University (2003). Her research focuses on juvenile justice, risk assessment, and psychopathy, with grants from NIDA, NIMH, and the MacArthur Foundation. She co-directs the National Youth Screening & Assessment Project (NYSAP), aiding juvenile justice agencies in implementing mental health screening tools. Her work emphasizes fair risk assessment procedures and neuropsychological underpinnings of addiction.
