Dr. Gina Haffner is the Frank and Oleda Rudy Professorship and Assistant Professor of Nursing at Cumberland University’s Jeanette C. Rudy School of Nursing and Health Professions. She holds a B.S., M.S.N., and M.N.P. from Middle Tennessee State University and a D.N.P. from Vanderbilt University. Her career spans emergency nursing, clinical nursing specialization, and primary care as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She currently teaches graduate nursing at Georgetown University as an adjunct.

Research & Practice: Her interests include population health, hypertension screening in outpatient settings, emergency nursing education, and critical care nursing. She is a Certified Emergency Nurse and has led healthcare providers across multiple states in corporate roles.
