Gina Erlandson is the Medical Imaging 3D Printing Lab Specialist at the 3D Printing and Training Center and a Lecturer in the Medical Imaging program at Clarkson College. She holds an Associate's degree in Commercial Photography (2009, Metropolitan Community College), an Associate's in Radiologic Technology (2012), and a Bachelor’s in Medical Imaging (2012), all from Clarkson College. Her expertise spans magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computed tomography (CT), cardiac/fetal/pediatric imaging, and medical 3D printing.
Previously, she served as a 3D Imaging Lab Specialist at Children’s Nebraska Hospital, specializing in post-processing CT/MRI exams for 3D visualization and prints. With 11 years as a pediatric MRI/CT technologist, she contributed to cardiac and fetal MRI teams and led technical operations. She teaches courses including Cross Sectional Anatomy II, Introduction to Medical 3D Imaging Segmentation, and Advanced Medical 3D Printing Applications.
Ms. Erlandson’s work emphasizes translating imaging data into clinical tools through advanced segmentation and 3D printing, supporting both education and clinical practice.
