Gina Crudden serves as an Assistant Professor at Nebraska Methodist College (NMC) in the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program, transitioning to a full-time academic role after previously working as a clinical adjunct. She concurrently holds a part-time position as Clinical Coordinator for the RN Transition to Practice Residency Program at the Omaha VA Medical Center.
Her educational credentials include a DNP from Nebraska Methodist College, MSN in Clinical Nurse Specialist from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, BSN from Southwestern Oklahoma State University, ADN from Oklahoma City Community College, and BS in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington. Board certifications include Adult Gerontology Acute Care Clinical Nurse Specialist (ACCNS-AG) and Medical-Surgical Nursing (CMSRN).
Dr. Crudden's research focuses on Oncology Nursing, Medical-Surgical Nursing, and Clinical Nurse Specialist practice implementation, with expertise developed through 20+ years of clinical experience spanning oncology, specialty medicine, and acute care settings. Her career progression from Certified Nursing Assistant (2002) to advanced practice roles informs her evidence-based teaching approach.
