Gillian Russell is a Professor in the School of Philosophy at The Australian National University (ANU). She holds visiting appointments as a Professorial Fellow at the Arché Research Center, University of St Andrews, Scotland. Her academic journey includes positions at Washington University in St Louis (tenured 2011) and the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, where she was Alumni Distinguished Professor. Russell’s work focuses on the philosophy of logic and language, addressing metaphysical, epistemological, and social dimensions of logic.
