Gilles Comeau is a Full Professor in the School of Music at the University of Ottawa since May 2012. He specializes in music pedagogy, piano teaching methodologies, and the intersection of music with neuroscience and psychology. His research focuses on performance anxiety, motor control during performance, and cognitive aspects of music learning.

Teaching includes courses such as 'Music and the Brain', 'Pain Prevention for Musicians', and 'Research Methodologies in Music Pedagogy'. His work integrates cognitive science, audiology, and digital signal processing to advance music education practices.
