Gilles Caboche is a Professor at the University of Burgundy's Polytech Dijon college, specializing in Metallurgical Processes, Sustainability, and Materials. He was appointed Lecturer at the University of Burgundy in 1992 and became a Professor in 2004. His research focuses on surface and interface properties of materials for fuel cells, microwave synthesis of nanoparticles, and high-reactivity particles for progressive internal reforming in SOFC systems.
As Director of the Carnot-Pasteur Doctoral School, he oversees doctoral training while maintaining active research collaborations. He coordinated national ADEME projects and the European IDEAL-CELL project (7th Framework Programme). His work with the ICB laboratory and FEMTO-ST laboratory led to a patent filing in 2012 under the FCLAB Research Federation.
