Gillert Adam

Gillert Adam is a doctoral student and assistant at the University of Arts in Poznan, Faculty of Painting. He earned bachelor's and master's degrees in Printmaking from the Faculty of Graphic Design and Visual Communication, followed by a master's in Painting from the Faculty of Painting. His research interests include the intersection of Visual Arts, Painting, Graphic Design, and the interplay between painting and photography.

Notable achievements include receiving the laureate award in the Three Bridges Foundation International Painting Contest (2016) and participating in collective and authorial exhibitions across Poland. His artistic work explores themes like aggression in art and the self-consciousness of creative processes, with a focus on printmaking and painting techniques.

He has collaborated with prominent professors such as Mirosław Pawłowski, Roman Kubicki, and Marek Przybył during his academic journey. His theoretical works address interdisciplinary connections between painting and photography.
