Gift Aydın is an Associate Professor at the Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Kutahya Dumlupınar University. Her primary research areas include Composite Materials, Ceramic Materials, and Powder Metallurgy, with a focus on synthesis, characterization, and application of advanced materials.
Her recent publications highlight innovations in
- Cryogenic treatment for enhancing tool steel wear resistance
- Mechanochemical synthesis of ceramic composites
- Development of nanofibers and non-enzymatic biosensors
- Optimization of metal matrix composites
Scientific recognition includes the Turquoise Achievement Award (2020) from Kutahya Dumlupınar University. She teaches graduate courses in Advanced Composites, Inorganic-Based Composites, and Material Production Technologies.
