Dr. Gideon Adegboyega is an Honorary Clinical Research Fellow at the Peninsula Medical School (Faculty of Health), University of Plymouth, and currently serves as a Neurosurgery Academic Clinical Fellow Specialty Trainee 1 at University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Foundation Trust. His research focuses on neurotrauma, neuro-oncology, paediatric neurosurgery, and addressing global health inequities in neurosurgical care.
He holds a strong commitment to advocacy for improving neurosurgical access in developing nations, emphasizing collaboration between global north and south regions. Outside medicine, his interests include mixed martial arts, audio engineering, and hiking.
