Dr. Gianluigi Catelani is a Senior Scientist at the JARA Institute for Quantum Information, part of the Peter Grünberg Institute (PGI-11) at Forschungszentrum Jülich in Germany. His research focuses on mesoscopic physics, quantum transport, superconductivity, and superconducting qubits, with an emphasis on understanding decoherence mechanisms in quantum devices.
Education and Career:

- 2007–2009: Postdoctoral Associate, Rutgers University
- 2009–2012: Postdoctoral Fellow and Associate Research Scientist, Yale University
