Dr. Giancarlo Anselmo is an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Winthrop University, affiliated with the College of Arts and Sciences. He holds an Ed.D. in School Psychology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and multiple degrees from Winthrop University including an SSP, M.S., and B.S. in Psychology. His expertise spans curriculum-based measurement, MTSS, and social-emotional intervention strategies.

Professional Experience: Prior to full-time academia (since 2019), he served 15+ years as a nationally certified school psychologist in North Carolina, specializing in RtI coordination and MTSS program development. He has been adjunct faculty at Winthrop since 2004.
