Giaime Pala is an Associate Professor at the University of Girona within the Department of History and History of Art, affiliated with the Historical Research Institute and the Research Group in Cultural, Artistic and Political Studies (9th-21st Centuries). Holding a PhD in History from Pompeu Fabra University, his work focuses on contemporary history, particularly the history of intellectuals, communist movements, and anti-Francoist resistance. He has authored and co-edited multiple books, including Cultura clandestina. PSUC intellectuals under Francoism and La fuerza y el consenso. Ensayo sobre Gramsci como historiador.
