Giacomo Verard is a Researcher at the Department of Software and Computer Systems within KTH Royal Institute of Technology, where he joined the Network Systems Lab group in 2020. His academic contributions include teaching Communication System Design (IK2200) and Networked Systems for Machine Learning (IK2221), as well as assisting in Computer Hardware Engineering (IS1200), Computer Organization and Components (IS1500), and Networked Systems for Machine Learning (FIK3221).
Verardo's research focuses on network architectures for distributed and federated learning, a field that combines Machine Learning, Computer Networks, and Distributed Systems.
