Ghislaine Guyot, Ph.D., serves as a Biology Faculty Member at Life University in the College of Online Education and as Chair of the Environmental Science Committee for Keiser University. A French native from South France near the Southern French Alps, Dr. Guyot completed her Master of Science in Biology at Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 and earned her Ph.D. in Biology from Pierre and Marie Curie University.
Her research career centers on conservation biology and herpetology, with specialized focus on endangered reptile species, particularly turtles. Dr. Guyot has conducted significant fieldwork across multiple continents, contributing to global conservation efforts through her expertise in reptile ecology and reproductive biology.

She emphasizes connecting biological concepts to real-world applications to engage online learners, stating: 'If you tie into real-life examples that they are interested in, then actually they are more likely every week to do their work.'
