Gesche Krause

Gesche Krause is a Social Scientist at the Alfred Wegener Institute (AWI), specializing in the social-ecological dimensions of marine resources and sustainable food systems. She holds roles in key international and national committees, including the Executive Board of the Future Forum Ocean (ZFO) and the German Marine Research Alliance (DAM). Her work bridges science and policy, focusing on aquaculture governance, climate change adaptation, and stakeholder engagement in marine spatial planning.
