Gerónimo Sarmiento Cruz

Gerónimo Sarmiento Cruz is an Assistant Professor in the Department of English at the University of Kentucky. His research focuses on poetry and poetics, US minority literature, and hemispheric poetry. He holds a PhD in English from the University of Chicago, an MA in Comparative Literature from University College London, and a BA in English Literature from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM).

His current book project, *Anational Poetics*, examines US ethnic minority poetry over the past five decades to explore social formations beyond nationalist frameworks.
