Gerui Wang is a Lecturer at Stanford University’s Center for East Asian Studies and the University of California, Santa Cruz. She specializes in AI ethics, digital humanities, and the intersection of art, technology, and environment. Her research includes a focus on governance and ecology in Chinese visual culture, supported by grants from the Chiang Ching-kuo Foundation and Mellon Foundation. She leads the digital humanities project Storytelling with AI, archived by Stanford Libraries, and has published in Journal of Chinese History and Newsletter for International China Studies.
