Gert Jan Hofstede is a Professor of Artificial Sociality at Wageningen University & Research, affiliated with the Urban Economics Group. His career spans population biology, information systems, and cultural studies, culminating in his appointment as a personal professor in 2018. He focuses on modeling human social behavior through agent-based simulations, emphasizing interdisciplinary integration to address complex societal challenges.
