Gerry Swan is an Associate Professor of Instructional Systems Design at the University of Kentucky, affiliated with the College of Education. He joined the faculty in 2007 and holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University and a Ph.D. in Instructional Technology from the University of Virginia. His career began with teaching at a New Hampshire boarding school, where exposure to one-to-one computing environments ignited his interest in educational technology.
Dr. Swan’s research focuses on interactive media integration in instruction and computer-managed instruction/research. His expertise spans instructional design methodologies, assessment strategies, and leveraging technology to enhance learning outcomes. He currently occupies office 134C Taylor Education Building and can be reached at gswan@uky.edu.
