Prof. Gerrit Jan Veltink is a Professor at the University of Applied Sciences Emden/Leer, affiliated with the Faculty of Technology, Electrical Engineering and Informatics and the Department of Media Informatics. He coordinates the Master's program in Industrial Informatics (since 2017) and co-initiated the Informatics program in collaboration with the Software Network Leer. He serves as scientific director of the Industry 4.0/IoT group within the Digital Hub Ostfriesland and is a founding member of the steering group for the IT-Achse (Ems-Achse).
