Gerhard Schurz is a Senior Professor at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf, holding the Senior Professorship in Theoretical Philosophy. He coordinates the DFG Research Group Inductive Metaphysics and leads the project Parameterized Frames and Conceptual Spaces at the Düsseldorf Center for Logic and Philosophy of Science (DCLPS).
His research focuses on the methodology of metaphysics, emphasizing empirical and inductive approaches.
