Gergely Mezei

Dr. Gergely Mezei is an Associate Professor and Deputy Head of the Department of Automation and Applied Informatics at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME), Hungary. He is affiliated with the Applied Computer Science Group within the department and is actively involved in research and education in model-driven engineering and formal methods.

His research interests lie at the intersection of multi-level modeling, formal verification, and model transformation systems. He has contributed extensively to the development of modeling languages and tools, particularly in the context of DMLA (Deep Multi-Level Architecture) and Melanee, focusing on enabling rigorous, scalable, and verifiable modeling practices.
