Gergana Kodjebacheva is an Associate Professor at the School of Health Professions and Studies, University of Michigan-Flint. She is affiliated with the Center for Russian, East European, & Eurasian Studies (CREES) and the Weiser Center for Europe and Eurasia (WCEE). Her research focuses on healthcare access, health behaviors, and health disparities, particularly among marginalized groups like the Roma population in Eastern Europe. She holds a Ph.D. in Public Health from UCLA, along with an M.A. in Urban Planning and a B.S. in Economics from UCLA.
Her work emphasizes telehealth innovations, pediatric care equity, and culturally sensitive health interventions.
