Gerd Geisslinger

Gerd Geisslinger is a Professor at the Institute of Clinical Pharmacology, Goethe University Frankfurt. His research focuses on the neurobiology and neuropharmacology of pain and inflammation, identification of novel pain targets, anti-tumor effects of analgesics, and platelet function analysis.

• Key Methods: Mass-spectrometry (LC/MS/MS, GC, HPLC), real-time PCR, DNA sequencing, 2D gel electrophoresis, yeast-two-hybrid system, and calcium imaging.
