Geraint Price

Geraint Price is a Senior Lecturer (Teaching Focused) in the Department of Information Security at Royal Holloway, University of London. His research focuses on cybersecurity, public key infrastructures (PKI), authentication systems, and grid security infrastructure. He has contributed to peer-reviewed journals and conferences, exploring topics such as certificate-free security frameworks, electronic identities, and distributed trust models.

Price has been involved in two major research projects funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC):

• Cyber Security Cartographies (CySeCa) (2012–2016), where he served as a Co-Investigator.
• Novel Security Architectures & Policy Management Technologies (2006–2008), as a Co-Investigator.

His work emphasizes practical applications of security protocols, including password-based authentication and user-friendly grid security solutions. He has co-authored influential papers on certificate management and PKI optimization, contributing to both theoretical and applied aspects of information security.
