Georgios B. Giannakis

Georgios B. Giannakis is a Full Professor, Endowed Chair, and Presidential Chair in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Minnesota since 1999. He directs the Digital Technology Center and has held academic roles at the University of Virginia (1987-1999) and USC (1982-1986). His research spans Data Science, Wireless Communications, Network Science, and Statistical Signal Processing, with applications to IoT and power systems.
