Georgina Guilera is a University Professor at the Department of Social Psychology and Quantitative Psychology, part of the Faculty of Psychology at the University of Barcelona. Her primary research focuses on methodology of behavioral sciences, victimology, and mental health assessment. She leads the GEIMAC research group (Studies of Invariance of Measurement and Analysis of Change) and participates in the GReVIA group (Child and Adolescent Victim Research).
She has coordinated multiple projects including 'STEPS: Simulation-based training to avoid secondary victimization in child sexual abuse cases' (2020-2022) and 'Integrating people with schizophrenia: Valid assessment across cultures' (2017-2021). Her teaching spans research methodology, psychometrics, and multivariate analysis in organizational psychology.
