Georgia Sakellari is a Professor of Networked Systems at the University of Greenwich, specializing in cybersecurity, IoT, and edge computing. She leads the €7M H2020 RESCUER project, enhancing first responders' communication and safety via secure technology, and previously managed the €6.3M H2020 C4IIoT project on IIoT cybersecurity frameworks.
Education: PhD in Computer Networks (Imperial College London), MSc (MBA) in Techno-Economic Systems (National Technical University of Athens), and MEng in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
Research focuses on IoT security, edge computing resilience, and energy efficiency. She serves on editorial boards of IEEE IT Professional and Elsevier's Simulation Modelling Practice and Theory Journal, and organized IEEE ISCIS and PerNEM workshops.
