Georges Habib is a Professor at the Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Sciences, Lebanese University, and an Associate Member of the Geometry Group at IECL, University of Lorraine, France. His research focuses on Differential Geometry, Spectral Geometry, and Functional Analysis.
- Education: Habilitation (HDR) in Mathematics (2020-2021) at University of Lorraine; Ph.D. in Mathematics (2003-2006) at University of Henri Poincaré.
- Research: Geometry of submanifolds, Kählerian/Sasaki manifolds, spectral analysis of Dirac-type operators, and Müntz spaces.
His recent publications analyze geometric singularities, Hodge Laplacian eigenvalues, and generalized Ricci-Hessian equations. Awards include the Atiyah UK-Lebanon Fellowship, Alexander von Humboldt funding, and CNRS grants.
