Professor George Panoutsos is a faculty member at the University of Sheffield, affiliated with the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering and the Department of Automatic Control and Systems Engineering (ACSE). He was promoted to Professor of Computational Intelligence in 2019 after joining as a Lecturer in 2010.
- Research focus on Computational Intelligence with applications in advanced manufacturing, healthcare, energy, and infrastructure
- Secured over £3M in grants from EPSRC, Innovate UK, DSTL, EU Horizon 2020, and industry partners
