George M. Bob-Milliar is an Associate Professor at the Department of History and Political Studies, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Ghana. He served as Director of the Centre for Cultural and African Studies (2019–2024) and Chair/Head of the Department of History and Political Studies (2015–2019). His research focuses on electoral politics in Ghana, informal institutions, social/political history, and the African Diaspora, published in top-tier journals. He co-edits African Affairs, African Economic History, and Contemporary Journal of African Studies.
His work bridges political science, history, and development studies, emphasizing democratic resilience and governance challenges in Africa. Recent publications analyze Ghana’s 2024 elections and electoral trends across Africa, highlighting democratic milestones and gender representation.
