George Gonpu

George Gonpu is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the Anisfield School of Business, Ramapo College of New Jersey, where he has been teaching since 2000. His academic work spans macroeconomics, monetary policy, and economic development, with a focus on African economies and financial systems.

• Education: B.Sc. from University of Liberia, M.A. from Northwestern University, Ph.D. from University of Illinois.
• Teaching Interests: Macroeconomics, Money and Banking, Business Statistics, Economic Development.
• Research Interests: Monetary Policy and Economic Activity, Public Policy and Economic Activity, with regional expertise in West Africa and Liberia.
